That rabbit is either going to be horrifying or the narmiest thing ever.
The rabbit seems quite disturbing to me thus far. The right VA could sell it, though.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI'm imagining the rabbit with Jigsaw's voice now.
I think the OVA is meant to be a prequel of sorts, showing how they got there and a few other things the game can't/didn't show.
Yeah, I since read that on Siliconera. I wonder if that means we'll start right in the thick of the action.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadI have no idea what they're saying, but the combination of Automatic Caption Transcription plus Google Translate is making for great amusement.
"Big snow vocabulary?" Apparently, this is about snowcloning now? And something about "cheese profits," which I'd love to know if it's in the original or not.
The Price is Bright! :P
Also, not related to the autotranslate at all: EVIL PORT-A-POTTIES! ...Well, that's what the row of doors looks like to me.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaThey're elevators, I believe. The characters refer to them as such in English.
Apparently "Two Milkmen Go Comedy" is an anagram. Not sure what it's for, though. Putting it into an engine got me 85,000 results. :|
I'll bet it means that their milk is delicious.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaOh you.
Apparently, it's an anagram for "Welcome to my kingdom".

If it is, they certainly picked an... unthreatening anagram for it.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI know, right?
Also, I had another dream that a character from this game was trying to kill me! Leave me alone, Clover.
I have just completed the True ending.
Holy shit.
I have a message from another time...Your mind = blown?
Pretty much completely.
I mean, I had suspicions about June, but the actual way it went about getting to that point was absolutely insane. Heck, for about five minutes after the narration switched to first person, I could have sworn that I, the player, was supposed to be the voice in his head.
And yet, it made sense. That's the weird part.
I have a message from another time...I felt the same way. Aside from the part where you thought it was you.
Well, I mean Junpei knew things he shouldn't have, things that I'd seen in the other endings. I maintain that it was a fairly reasonable thing to think.
So, man, Ace and his company really got hit hard, didn't they? Their project succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. One of the kidnapped children accessed the fields perfectly... and used it to exact revenge on each and every one of them. Not only that, but the revenge plot was funded by stocks in Cradle. That's just deliciously poetic.
I have a message from another time...Now go read Ever17.
The only way it could've been better is if Ace got a lump of coal from Santa and a small stove from June for his cell.

I think the part about that ending that blew my mind the most was all the hidden foreshadowing. I mean, June talking about the Titanic inspiring an author in the past and Clover talking about Locke's Socks (were you playing as Junpei, or as June?) take on whole new meanings with this information...
Well, since I read this AFTER I read Ever17, I pretty much knew that the stuff with the Titanic and collective subconscious was going to play some part in the whole thing. I just didn't know how. I don't consider it poetic, I consider it necessary hinting for a mystery story.
So I am now further convinced, after watching the anime promo, that the big robot is Seven underneath it all. It's kind of hunch-y, but I just get that vibe, you know?
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaThe entire cast of the game is the same as the last game. Clover is the only one who didn't get the memo about disguises.

Siliconera suggests that this is the opening for the game, but someone in the comments suggested that it's actually the promo anime's opening. I'm more inclined to believe that since we've seen little game footage besides scans. Either way though, it looks interesting.
I wonder how vital the OVA will be to the canon? Like do you think it'll just recap the first part of the game, or do you think the game may start afterwards?
