I'm generally pretty lazy, but I get my excercise through long walks, chopping firewood and doing yard-work appropriate to the season.
I just rode my bike for the first time in a long time today. :) And now my legs feel like they're on fire. x_x ^_^;;

"Yup. That tasted purple."Same. As much as I love Ring Fit Adventure, I need to do more exercise than just stretches. Once I get my shots, I'm signing back up for the gym.
so I did 150 (admittedly crappy) dumbell curls over two sessions today.
I wanna spend the rest of this month trying to do a crazy fitness routine and see how far I can push it after seeing the story of that obese guy who became a seal.
Any recommendations for routines?

Remember those other posts I made, how I was able to swim 10 laps in eight minutes, and then again in seven? Tonight, I just swam those 10 laps in six minutes.
Sheesh; if I had known I was this good at swimming, I should have joined up with the Olympics.

245 lbs 3 rep bench press.
315 lbs 2 rep deadlift.
My body weight right now is 186 or so. Next year I'm planning on competing in bodybuilding.

Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)I suddenly find myself pondering what my midsection would look like if I was living in a warmer climate and thus I could do my favorite outdoor exercises more often (walking, bike-riding, swimming, etc.).
Update for today: I could wear my belt at the fourth slot today. I can't remember what I did, but I must be doing something right. :) Even if there were times where I felt heavier than I actually am (yeah, thanks a lot, seasonal affective disorder)

My diet tightens and restricts week by week. By the end...probably like, 1500 to 1800 calories a day, water rationing on top of all that.

That's one of the big reason's I've always enjoyed cycling I think, though. It's very engaging when done outdoors.

"Yup. That tasted purple."My work-phone has an app for counting steps, which keeps getting automatically activated and announces with a fanfare whenever I've walked the desired daily 10,000 steps. Often this happens right in the middle of my work-day, which involves loads of walking and carrying stuff. I'm a museum educator at a huge outdoor museum, while my own yard is pretty big and needs frequent lawnmowing, so I don't think I need to go to the gym.
11 days off of my first bodybuilding contest.
Let me say, Contest Prep is...an experience. As a diet, it's an experience. If I had to say what it's like in the last few weeks, you'll feel miserable but you'll look the best in your life.
