Running, pullups (or chin ups, I can't remember which I do), swimming, biking, sit ups, push ups.

Area... upper body strength? I really know nothing about this.

-shoulder presses
-curls (barbell or dumbbells)

Just get in some sort of routine. Something easy that you can do anywhere; set a timer for 2min and see how many push-ups/sit-ups you can do.

Do as many as you're physically able to, then do more the next day, and the next..ect.
