oh i am mainly a consumer although i am considering becoming a games designer with my current education i am a 18 year old male from England and have a pair of cats sorry if this appears out of place i have been reading TV tropes for a few years now and have only made an account
i tend to favor pc gaming although i enjoy other media

I don't really know what I'm doing, but I'll try to make sense.
I'm an annoying lady from Brazil and couldn't get more addicted to this website. ...Until I discovered the forums, at least. I like Pokémon a lot (as many can see by my username/icon), as well as many other videogames. I'm seriously obsessed with videogames. (And with myself, which is why I talk about myself a lot.) My hobbies include writing and roleplaying (I'm currently staring at the roleplaying forums and wondering if I should join anything). That's pretty much it, I'm boring.

Hello, peoples! I'm Sea Jay — as can be seen a few inches to the left. I've decided to join the troper community because of the persuasive power of that ageless and versatile question, "Why not?"
Contrary to what my handle and avatar might lead you to believe, I'm not particularly interested in birds (or large bodies of water). My handle is a reference to a nickname I have, and the avatar seemed to match. . . because I'm logical like that. In any case, my interests actually lie in the infinitely large and infinitely small — astronomy and quantum mechanics. I'm also a passionate writer. In fact, I plan to unite those two passions and become a science writer (which isn't the same as science FICTION writing, mind you). Fiction is where my love for writing started, though, and story is vitally important to me in multiple areas of my life. That's why tropes are more than a mere curiosity for me.
I can't promise that I'll be a particularly enterprising member of this community, but I'm excited to be here!
