First, the Zero Requiem was never a logical solution to anything. For all his talk of world peace, it was just an elaborate suicide plot. "Become the object of the world's hatred and die," is not going to absorb everybody's will to fight each other for more than a few years. Actually forming a lasting peace is contingent on Nunnally and the other world leaders, with Suzaku working behind the scenes.

Second, there is still a live theory that a geass witch's immortality is triggered by death and resurrection. C.C. certainly appeared dead in that flashback scene where she takes the nun's code. This, of course, makes it plausible that Lelouch is now an immortal geass witch. That would also means that Suzaku's "live" command will force him to seek out Lelouch, form a contract, and ultimately kill him again in order to gain immortality. Only then would he be free of the compulsion to preserve his life by any means necessary.

Third, Zero-sexual Kaguya will likely rekindle a relationship with Suzaku, if for no other reason than he's now Zero. And let's face it, she's the only girl Suzaku could have a relationship with anymore, having forsaken both his identity and his reputation for the Zero Requiem. Only someone who would love him as Zero could be with him.

No that doesn't make sense. Kaguya found out Zero's identity thanks to the traitors revealing it to her and their Chinese ally. There will never be a nonsensical Kaguya x her cousin.

If anything Lelouch would rather Suzaku get with Nunally, which was his plan till learning he was Lancelots pilot.

Umm Nunnally is still kinda young when R2 ended.

Yes and? I mean he still wanted it when she was even younger. Zerozaku spends a good deal of time around her as one of the world leaders too.

I've been part of a Code Geass RP forum for literally a decade by this point; our community is pretty divided between being apprehensive and feeling excited.

I know there'll probably be new characters, but I'd love to get mileage out of ones we already have; Cornelia and Villeta were underused in R2.

Well I could see Cornelia trying to understand and make peace with Japanese people, and perhaps one of them signs up under her wing. As for Viletta she is kind of a mom now, so she can't do much except maybe go back to teaching again.

Taking care of a child takes up a lot of time.

Eh, if she's the President of Japan's wife I'm sure someone could take care of the baby.

Isn't it stilł Prime Minister? Never got why Ohgi ended in that position.

Kaguya is running the UFN, so I figure Oghi was the next choice,

Also I know Zero had hand picked Ohgi as the Japanese President after the Revolution, though why he would think he would just be accepted without there being like a referendum is beyond me.

Considering everyone trusts the Black Knights implicitly, especially Zero, I would imagine that no one would protest if Zero pointed to Ohgi and said "You're President now, enjoy."

That's the idea of the Black Knights making trust and becoming the sole power in the world to fight against injustice.

Their kinda untrustworthy now & actually incompetent. I mean they basically fell for Schneizel plan hook, line & sinker & were even willing to rat out their own leader, the guy who practically made them what they are for primarily selfish reasons. I mean selling Zero out for control of Japan shows that their too biased to defend the world too.

Ohgi doesn't even deserve his position at this point which is basically becaming the head honcho of Japan, the fucking traitor.

The world trusts them over Lelouch even if they kinda of started the Zero Requiem.

Why not just blow up the world?

That alone should have given Lelouch enough pause over Zero Requiem... if the people left over to lead are too incompetent, what's the point? Xing-ke couldn't have been too long for the world.

And Cornelia, I couldn't respect for her lack of self-awareness/accountability in her murdering Japanese and never really atoning for it. She may have lost her sister, but Lelouch lost tons more, and yet saw fit to kill himself (debatably just suicide, perhaps).

Kallen wasn't racist, so much as she was anti-imperialist Britannia. She was the one who didn't want to set off that "gas canister" in the middle of a civilian area.

I always imagined Villetta and Oghi losing custody of their kid to Kallen personally, and Villetta being conscripted to security duty or something else menial, lol.

Well her knight did get blinded and she is supporting her younger sister who loves Japanese people without question.

At least she and said knight are alive.

Lelouch isn't. And he didn't kill a fraction as many in the same kind of cold blood.

In regards Cornelia from my last viewing of it which has been a while, but when she met with V. V. it felt like she got the idea that geass has some corrupting effect since she seemed to more blame geass for what happened then lelouch.

If I remember correctly the plan with nunually and suzaku seemed to last until Eupimia had declared him her knight.

Planned R2 script.

Can someone give me a summary? I don't have time to look at that right now.

On the most basic level, they were going have Lelouch defeat Suzaku in that duel, because he hesitated to pull the trigger at the last second.

Then Lelouch uses the Lancelot to infiltrate the Emperor's airship, which had arrived on the battlefield to fire at the Black Knights and send elite guards against them. Lelouch has his confrontation with dad and gets Geassed, leading to his apparently being imprisoned in the basement of the school.

In general, it's a more interesting episode script than R2 ep 1.
