I swear to god, I really need to change my username.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Because our Adric doesn't want to be compared to THAT Adric, who was one of the most unpopular Companions in the history of Who.
Even if said name belongs to one of the most hated and reviled characters in the history of DW? (At the very least.)
He's just a character, it doesn't really matter that much.
No change.everything must the way it always was!
New theme music also a boxI thought of suggesting Caves of Androzani. Main reason I didn't is it's literally the last Davison story. I had mixed feelings about saying his best story ever was his last one.

If you want to get into the Davison era I suggest Kinda or Snakedance.
Because of this:
re: post 99687
After awhile, it seemed like Moffat's preferred status quo was "everyone has sex with everyone."
I'd kinda prefer the Doctor and the Master have a non-sexual relationship, because we do kinda have the tendency to sexualize everything these days. It is possible for one person to have a close, non-sexual relationship with someone to whom they're not related. I didn't care much for Donna overall, but she was the first companion since the reboot who didn't want to get it on with the Doctor.
THIS!!! So much THIS!!!!!
Eh, never really got that feeling, to be honest. In the end, none of Moffat's companions got into a romantic relationship with the Doctor.
For quite some time, I thought that our Adric had "Adrian" as part of their username instead.
And apparently, this is actually their name?

Oh God! Natural light!Yes, Adrian is my real name.
If it helps, I used to think Karkat here was a girl.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? No, none of them actually got it on with The Doctor, but all of them save Donna had the hots for him and totally would have if he let them.
Please, PLEASE Keep the new girl 100% Platonic!
I'm not sure if you've told me that before.
What on earth made you think that was the case?
Platonic? Bill and the Doctor? I suppose I can drink to that...

Oh God! Natural light!Your old avatar was Pearl from Steven Universe, and I usually associate people by avatars.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Maybe it's because you have a girl as your avatar?
EDIT: Dagnabbit.

Keep in mind that Amy probably was a reaction to the RTD tendency to have the Companions crush on the Doctor.
She mirrors Rose, actually.
Except instead of being a dick to the boyfriend, the Doctor invites him on board and becomes besties
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI still don't? Understand? People who view the Doctor and Clara's relationship as romantic OR sexual?
Like. Emotionally close and intimate, yeah? But.
I mean, there are sexual vibes with Eleven, but.
"I'm not your boyfriend" sorta shut the door on that I think?

"I never said it was your mistake."
Fresh-eyed movie blogCLARA: Who? Adrian? No, no, no. He's just a friend and not my type.
And I don't recall her ever flirting with Twelve.
So.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Which episode was that in again?

Deep Breath.
I'd say that Enlightenment's a really good one to start off with, buuuuut it's the third part of a loose trilogy, with the alright Marwyn Undead and the mediocre Terminus proceeding it. Mediocre is a good way to describe most of Five's era, but there were still some real gems in there. Maybe Kinda? That's a really good one too, and it's pretty continuity-light if that sort of thing bothers you. The only real problem with it is Adric being Adric, (no, not that Adric...) but even then, he's not that awful here. If you like it, Snakedance is a good one to follow up with, seeing as that's a direct sequel and all.
I'd have to disagree. Caves of Androzoni is amazing, but it might have more of an impact if ZP actually got a chance to know the Fifth Doctor a bit before watching him kick the bucket. Caves is definitely one to check out, but I think it should be the last one to check out.
