Where I am I can't read tumblr links, would someone please explain them? This happens a lot actually.
He's the Doctor. He could be anywhere in time and space. The first is a bunch of gifsets of Clara and her echoes set to William Blake's "The Tyger".
...And I'm bad at summarizing, but the latter is about the ways Oswin is an idealization of Clara and her "control-freak" tendencies.
Yay Lindalee!
Yay Clara, the Faction, and Self-awareness!

I am still where-tumblr-is-blocked and incidentally I think you'd be great at writing book blurbs, because you're great at explaining things in ways that just make me want to read them more.
By the way you were totally right about the toymaker serial.

He's the Doctor. He could be anywhere in time and space....The Doctor really hasn't insulted Clara that much. And the lines where he thinks he and Clara look the same age and that Courtney looked 35 seem to be delivered sincerely.
I think he damaged the part of his brain that remembered how human appearances work.
Themes of appearance, and change. And Jane being awesomazing.
Maximum Utility. Yay Cybermen!

I'd be cool with that to be honest because I could listen to Paul McGann's voice all day.

Philip Sandifer is giving away one of his books.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. Also, unnoun, I support the idea of you getting yourself a tumblr, which you mentioned a while back. I reckon you've got enough interesting things to say.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. Please don't pressure me about it.
Reposting because new page.

Pressuring you absolutely wasn't my intention but I apologise if it came across that way & I won't bring it up again.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. He's right about Strax. The joke was funny, but it's worn thin now.
Internet lists can't tell me what to think.
I still don't love Love and Monsters or the Long Game.
Opinions on the rest of the list mixed.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI like Strax. And I won't have anyone tell me what Doctor Who episodes or seasons to like. Be it in jest or otherwise.
I would suggest that the nature of both Jack's list and my similar one is not actually to tell anyone what to think (because who would ever take that seriously in the first place), but rather as sort of statements of personal doctrine. Acts of marking off positions so idiosyncratic that we can own them completely.
You'll never take me alive.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI can however be taken in a state of quantum flux.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAlright. I shall lock you in a box with a vial of poison and an unstable isotope.
Song of the SirensWhich parts: the Pictures, the quotes, or my failed attempt at being a member of the moffat hate tag?
We! Are the Crystal Gems!Yeah you could have been more irrationally hateful, I think. You didn't sell me on your growling either. I expect the exaggerated caricatures of the hate tag that exist within my imagining to spittle as much as EOT Rassilon, honestly.
I mean, I don't remember the exact context for every quote but the quote "Tommy, go after him" for "She sees the best in others" was probably a bad choice. Considering it was her telling someone to go make up with their abusive father when they hadn't even been separated for any amount of time yet.
I mean the follow up was "you're clever enough to save the world so don't stop there" but still. There was probably a better quote to be used that didn't have Rose telling someone to go back to an abusive relationship.
Edit: Also, the person that showed me that link pointed out that many of the 'different' characteristics overlap. Initiative, assertive, bold. Said person also pointed out that they are different expressions of similar heroic traits so the whole thing could still work.
Also, also. Hello.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersWhat the hell is "Moffat Stans" even supposed to mean?
Is it, like, if Moffat and Stan Pines had babies or something?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
I've been keeping up with this season, except the past two episodes. I must watch them.
(Also I opened a CAH game whose pass is TVShips)
