So hype. If the quality continues, this just might outmatch Anakin v Obi-Wan in epic speeches.
I'm getting chills. This is way better than the original, and I have to issue some applause for Corey's development as a role-player.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That is far more nuanced than the original. Which doesnt say a lot for Star Wars, or George Lucas.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."This has always been more nuanced than the original. The actual goalpost this confrontation needs to surpass is Anakin vs Obi-Wan from the comic itself.
Yea, Star Wars was a very straightforward story.
The rare time where a player breaking out into a serious song doesn't cause laughs.
This doesn't work for DMs that are jealously protective of their powers
In other news, what sort of movie series is the big guns campaign based around?

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. In my experience, GMs are much less likely to be protective of their powers than happy that someone else is doing all the work for once.
A big guns campaign sounds like an action movie, so we can probably rule those out. Uh, Real Genius? That had a plot-important Kill Sat, and it's hard to get a bigger gun than that.
I immediately thought of the Doom comic.
Direct all enquiries to Jamie B GoodIt's been a while since I've seen someone do that.
So Pete works at a firm. It seems pretty damn clear at this point that he is an attorney.
Yeah, it's lawyers who most commonly refer to their organizations as a "firm", aren't they?
And people who call it The Firm are uniformly evil.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Isn't "the firm" also CIA slang?
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Ugh.
I clicked the Schmuck Bait
I'm so ashamed of myself
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youAnd hey, today's page number is a multiple of 50. You know what that means.
That may be the most hilarious alternate strip I've ever read.
Bravissimo, Comic Irregulars
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThe cast page is amazing.
Holy shit, there's cast pages and archives for all of them.
Holy shit, the titles are puns actually based on the game/show/movie the comic is
oh my god
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youAnd here's the write-up added to the previous bonus page:
- Moonballs is a serious documentary about tennis strategy and tactics.
- Kevin Bacon is known (barely) for doing voiceovers for poorly selling computer games, but gains widespread fame after his appearance in the first Futurama movie.
- Tom Hanks is known primarily for his role in Mazes and Monsters.
- Nerdy guys make You Tube videos of themselves re-enacting 90s video games with live acting and special effects instead of fitting square air filters to round holes.
- Without the success of Apollo 13 to spark interest in space exploration movies, Star Trek was never revisited with numerous series and movies, and remains an obscure two-pilot aborted TV series.
- The Martian was never made into a movie. Fans of Andy Weir never had it so good.
- The major space exploration background that pervades all of Western culture is Lost in Space, despite it never being much good. The original was adapted recently into a new, updated film with a bigger budget, high-tech computerised special effects, and edgy writing. And it sucked.
- Throughout the 1990s, all the greatest Hollywood historical docudrama films were retellings of events surrounding the Avignon Papacy and the Western Schism of the Catholic Church.
- The Comic Irregulars exist and are making a screencap comic based on Pac-Man.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."On the subject of the proper comic: It might not be a good idea for Gondor to call for aid if Gondor doesn't have a blasted clue about what to do with that aid.
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.Apparently Packman was considered (but voted down) as a possible campaign for the group to have played during the skip foward between movies, but as it was voted down it instead ended up as this.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranNew page is up and uh...does anybody know what this is calling back to?

He should have added a reason, like "Palpatine is unstable because the force he depends on is unstable. Rejoin me before he drags you down too." Or something.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."
