This talk of Bang and the Jagers gets me thinking. What if Bang drank the Jagerdraught and became a Jager?
The world would explode.
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst liesNew strip, finally Gosh, whoever could possibly have reason to sneak a large group of constructs onboard Castle Wulfenbach? Tis a puzzle.
I'm feline like I know the answer to this mystery.
...I'll confess, I have a hard time remembering everything that's going on in the comic sometimes. Who's responsible for this?
Oh God! Natural light! It still tickles me, Krosp showing up on the shelf, seemingly one of the dolls, in that last panel...
It does really seem like Chekhov's Gun finally going on if it's Krosp and the bears... of course, it's pretty solidly established that there are lots of people with lots of reasons to take on Wulfenbach. Krosp is just the only one we know of that has practical experience with the layout of the castle.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I want someone to show up from that village.
Trump delenda estIf it isn't Krosp and the bears, the Foglios are going to have some serious explaining to do. We've been waiting a long time for them.
If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!Honestly I was enjoying Krosp's absence.
Ah, right, the bears.
Oh God! Natural light!I thought that Castle Wolfenbach was destroyed during the time Agatha was in the time-locked transport.
Did Gil build a new one?
We haven't heard anything explicitly about Castle Wulfenbach; there have been some scenes with Gil running the empire where it's not clear if he's on the ship or in the laboratories surrounding Mechanicsburg.
@52725 I mean, we've already lost one Castle Wulfenbach (an actual castle, though in flashback) and seen it replaced with an airship armada. Who's to say we haven't seen yet another replacement (presuming, of course, that the previous airship was lost)?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Besides it would be too much of a joke to lose... the diplomatic awkwardness when Albia discovers that Agatha is a vassal... to the king of cats.
Well here goes nothingNot just funny. If Krosp can support his authority, he is Albia's equal. If Agatha is his vassal, he can order her to leave England and Albia cannot interfere.
Assuming, of course, that the ship does carry cat and bears.
I wonder ... are bears, like Jaegers, immune to Lucrezia's wasps?

Well, they're surprised that Wulfenbach is there, and were expecting Agatha. Whatever that signifies. Less than professional radio dialogue.
Could it be Adam and Lilith again?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Gil's title get upgraded to "Emperor" when Klaus vanished? I thought "Baron Wulfenbach" just referred to Klaus.
Gil took a page or two of his father's page of Just the First Citizen. And as of now the land coverage is a fraction of what Klaus had at start so the Baron title can be fitting again.
Well here goes nothingSpeaking of that page, it seems to imply that Klaus being "put back together" is a fact known of nobility. Is that canon?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."@51719 Well, there's also the fact that Albia would have to recognize Krosp as legitimate. Of course, Krosp knows his Realpolitik; he assuredly knows all about that.
@51722 I remember that Gil is entitled to be called "Your highness," which would imply that he's a prince ("imperial majesty" is for emperors and empresses, "majesty" is for kings and queens). Which would fit with the theory that he's the son of the Queen of Skifander. I'm not sure if it was ever made clear what other titles Gil would presumably be entitled to.
That said, there are two good reasons to continue with the use of "baron". One, as noted, is noted under Just the First Citizen. The other is to present continuity with his father, to try to present as much of a status quo as he can reasonably accomplish.

I'm sure she had her fans, esp considering who she herself ended up attracted to.
