[up] The Wasp Eater was right there and completely ignored Gil. It's most likely Klaus was lying through his teeth, either on orders from Lu or his own initiative.

I snickered at how casually Agatha comments on the possibility of Chewy going on a murderous rampage, but the Doc cameo really did it for me.

I don't like that last line regarding Krosp . . .

Oh I doubt he's in any sort of trouble. The bears wouldn't allow it.

I can't imagine the bears would be be here if Krosp wasn't. I AM curious if that was a stripped Konig who climbed with Ulm or a random foot-soldier.

Krosp and the bears could off running interference for Agatha —- keeping Gil and Martellus occupied elsewhere.

He might also want to introduce the bears to the Jager.

It can't have been easy to find their Heterodyne only to lose her again for 2 1/2 years. Knowing that they are in not in this alone would be quite a boost in morale, I think.

Which leaves me wondering who commands the Jager in Dimo's absence.

The logical choice would be Jenka —- who seems to be soundest and steadiest of the lot.

Her and Mama Gkika both seem to be a lot more sensible than the bulk of the male Jaegers. Although that might have more to do with why guys wind up on the Darwin Awards far more than females, then anything Jaeger or Spark specific.

...Google criticized my typos in Gkika and Jaeger... and I didn't teach it that...

I don't know why, but the weasels to me seem to have a few cat traits... but maybe I'm misreading. They certainly remind me of the ferrets we used to have. (Old age calls to all.)

Edit: Huh, realized something. They have Agatha, who only had one slice of cake, down in a regular bedroom, but Zeetha, who ate a huge amount, up in the medical area where they can keep an eye on her. Very nice touch.

Although nobody here replied to my post about the Fantasy Faire event (the Professors seemed tickled enough to Facebook it), I thought you might like to know that the Baron and Her Majesty came in a very close second to Vetinari and Granny Weatherwax - there was a very determined 'bumper' in attendance at the May Day Ball, where the results were announced.

(It was generally thought that the Discworld characters winning was an appropriate and fitting homage for this year.)

The two Girl Genius characters were responsible for drawing nearly US$100 each, and the Faire as a whole raised somewhere upwards of US$30,000.

[up][up]I am afraid you are right. Castle Wulfenbach is likely still near. And with Klaus/Gil presented again with Lu a short time ago..... That cat is a diplomatic disaster.

I'm honestly surprised and impressed that the Foglios had Krosp split off from Agatha like this, though if he is going after Vapnoople (which is the obvious target) it does give another reason to keep Gil from chasing after Agatha.

[up]Find shiny thing? Maybe. But, distracting Gil and Klaus to allow Agatha to do her thing while incidentally picking up Pappa? That's also likely.

Krosp might be after multiple goals. He's now got the means to run down his to-do list. :/

Agatha already noticed the train moving and I seriously doubt they waited for her to wake up to leave, so I'd say probably not in the station, but I can't really guess how much progress they'll have made.

Going for Dr. Dim is definitely plausible and would make emotional sense with the sudden silent departure, although I could imagine Krosp having a complicated plan. I'm less sure why he wouldn't tell the bears where he's going until they're on the way.

I don't think Castle Wulfenbach is necessarily close, though — remember it's slow. Gil and Bang probably took a faster ship to get to the station. Castle Wulfenbach may well be back near Mechanicsburg.

I suppose this gets the bears out of the way for the visit to Paris, anyway.

Huh. So Krosp is going on his own adventure. Didnt see that coming.
