It resolved without much incident. He took the band off when she came back.
Also the tooth sort of vanished somewhere.
Renard has the tooth.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I somehow don't recall that happening. Must've missed it.
Moon◊You also have to consider that animals tend to be a lot more cavalier about killing one another for sustenance.
IIRC it vanished off her wrist at some point in the chapter after she got back from the woods.
Doesn't Parley have the blade?
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."IIRC the tooth was last seen when Annie presented it to Parley for purposes of training to use it. This probably is the kept heading.
To Bam, or not to Bam.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Huh, I did not realize that about his powers.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️*double pistols and a wink*
I have a message from another time...A few months? What kind of timeskip are we dealing with?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.When did we last see Parley? Wasn't it at the party where we first met Snuffle and the rabbit girl? I could easily buy that being several months ago.
Parley's away to do her training.
I can't help but think of how, when Eglamore went away for his training, Surma grew apart from him. That couldn't have been the only thing that led to their breakup, but I still hope Parley and Smitty fare better at a long-distance relationship.
Parley doesn't have an emotionally stunted jackass and a crazy fox spirit vying for her affections.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Parley will have to give Smitty up as losing control of her powers would simply risk her own destruction and not burn away the entire world while reaping everybody's soul.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."^^ Other way around. Smitty is the one who would be dumping her if we're going for parallels.
Anyway, Surma's problem was Eglamore not making time for her, which Parley doesn't have to worry about what with the teleportation.
I think Smitty thinks about the consequences of his power way more than anyone else... and honestly, I really appreciate that. He's the sort of person that I would want to trust a power to.
Also, I'm amused that, other than spelling, he calls his girlfriend by the same name I call my wife (though Mrs. Footsteps has an actual feminine form of the name, rather than just being stuck with "George").
I would ask if the Gillitie-born folk ever heard of an accent... but I imagine that they'd say the same thing whether or not they had.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. This entire page is just precious.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.So, she thinks that they're mispronouncing her name as "misbugsy"?
I have a message from another time...Faeries do not understand honorifics.
Apparently not.
Which is unusual. In a lot of setting the Fae are all about titles and crap.
Oh yeah, Coyote did do the hand-severing threat over his tooth, didn't he?
...I'm a little afraid to see how that Chekhov's Gun is gonna pay off.
