The lore that we have in the manga is that the tree grew naturally after absorbing thousands of years worth of bloodshed from mans wars through its roots.

The trees being connected to the Okutsuki is part of the extended backstory of Kaguya now. Its why Momo and Kinshiki knew about the tree and sought to restore it to eat from the tree themselves and that Ninjaland was supposed to be land under Kaguyas watch till they came later. The two of them also serve as recon for the clan from what their words suggest too.

Technically the "feeding on bloodshed" isn't wrong as it nourishes itself on chakra in the land, so if there is chakra in the blood it can use it to feed itself.

I thought it was that there was a tree in most dimensions, and they just happened to be able to dimension door and wanted to snap up the resource before anyone else.

More characters got announced but biggest of all we get character creation, meaning we can make our own ninjas. This game is Naruto Xenoverse.

Well I certainly feel hyped now.

So...apparently there's been new information about Boruto's unique dōjutsu recently. According to one of the animators for the anime, it's not the Byakugan, nor is it the Tenseigan; it's a new dōjutsu called the Jōgan, or "Pure Eye". It's apparently related to the Ōtsutsuki clan's dimension and its powers are the dōjutsu version of Naruto's ability to sense negative emotions. Though, he then said that all of this would be explained in detail in the future, and then said to not think about too much as the author hasn't thought it all through itself.

That sounds both interesting and worrying. Interesting because it sounds like it could be cool. Worrying because the author hasn't already worked out all of, or at least most of, the details. Still wish it was the Byakugan, though.

Honestly, the Byakugan would be the most obvious choice, given Himawari already got it, but I guess they're trying something new instead. As long as it gets differentiated from the existing eye powers descended from the Ootsukis, I guess. :(

Which is not to say that he won't develop a Byakugan in his other eye.

What makes me sad is that the Byakugan is really cool. It's an easy to understand power that has a lot of applications in many different situations and isn't OP as fuck like the Sharingan. Personally, I also think it looks cooler than the Sharingan. Boruto having the Byakugan would have been great since we would have gotten to see it in action more.

Of course, the fact that it isn't absurdly OP is probably the reason why he's not getting it. It's not super special awesome enough.

I'm watching this for the first time since I kind of dropped off of the anime after the final Naruto/Sasuke fight. My main thought was, "wow, Sasuke's a dick, can't even show up to his best friend's wedding when literally everybody else in the village was there.

If even Kishimoto can't understand how they got together, then how can we as an audience accept their relationship. I know on this very wiki I see entries saying that underneath everything that Sasuke and Sakura really do care. However, nothing indicates to that notion, except what is told to us. Everything about this marriage is shallow and one sided with no good reason for Sakura to still hold a torch for this guy. The series often times goes to show how messed up it is, and still in the end we are supposed to expect it can still hold up beyond all logic.

I still say he just Izanagi'd the marriage and Salad being conceived, but imagining other ways for them to be "together" is also fun.

My favorite theory was that Sasuke simply genjutsu'd her into thinking Sarada was their kid so he wouldn't have to do it.
