Whats funny is that if this war ends in two days, the Fifth Great Ninja War may just end in less than an hour
If only they had ninshu, Naruto could show Bort his own childhood to stop him being such a little bitch. - IronypusActually how did Minato genin team end the war by destroying one bridge (and minato killing around 50+ nins) i mean they can stand on water
Fighting crime, trying to save the world~Well not everyone can walk on water. It's suppose to be a fairly difficult thing to do. I figured the water just went too fast for them to walk on it.
nyo ho hoMan, Nagato's plan really was everything you can want in your big bad's. Being huge badarses, energy demons, starting an economy of wars and eventual world domination. Evil, yet succinct. Ridiculous, yet plausible.
Probably an issue of the chakra consumption needed to cross the gap without the bridge.
Yes, but the problem with the original plan was that it was relatively dull, and would have left Nagato's character looking like a generic Bond villain.
Same reason I believe Gato isn't more popular than he is, in addition to his being a noncombatant in a battle manga.

So, do we think the Uchihas being the ultimate masterminds is fangirl-pandering or what?
More like Kishi decided that instead of the world being a screwed up place of varying points... it was one central flawed group of individuals responsble for it all.
Basically how the anime team likes to make everything Danzou's fault
Kishi did it with Madara and most likely Kaguya
You're right, it would be dull. I suppose it's just that dull would be preferable to what's happening now.
Damnit, Odie! I was going to make the Metal Gear reference! Stupid me taking the time to eat dinner.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!But seriously, Nagato's economic plan basically makes him a Patriot AI.
I guess Obito would have just stabbed him in the back and hijacked the Juubi had Nagato succeeded in capturing Naruto/Kurama?
...
Dear God, that would mean Obito is Ocelot. And Rin is Big Boss. And Madara is Liquid. Would Hashi be Solid? That wood explain all the Ho Yay.

Our final moment.
The battle has ended, but we are not yet free!
The war is over but... we have a score to settle.
SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT SNAKE!
Depends on if he could even beat Pain, Konan nearly killed him and there is no way he'd fight without her backing up his main body. Especially if Pain used his Retconned into existence ability to absorb enough chakra to cure his body being weak as well. All the six paths in a single body plus the Gedo Statue that has every bijuu in it, it'd probably be a curbstomp.

No way in hell could Tobi beat Nagato.
And from what happened, I think Nagato knew Tobi's plan, but Tobi didn't know his. Tobi thought he was some devoutly loyal soldier.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Obito does have Izanagi
Eh, his only means of beating Nagato is teleporting all the Pains away, starting with Animal Realm. That's way easier said than done. Directly confronting Nagato is a no-go too.
Saw a post that made me lol.
Which he had to use to get past Konan's 'Kill Everything' move. He can only use it once, using it a second time takes away two things he absolutely needs to not die in 5 seconds. His sight, and his ability to phase-out from attacks.
Nagato most likely knows the timer on his phasing (Since Konan knows, and she'd share it with him), and once he gets over the shock he could resume curbstomping him because Pre-Juubi Obito doesn't have enough raw strength to take out all six bodies while in Izanagi.
@Cruherrx
That post makes me lol, if only because the guy who wrote it obviously hasn't read the last few chapters, in which Naruto becomes Jesus not through hard work... but because he was the reincarnation of one of the Sage's sons.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariSo for the laughs I made a little ol' Strawpoll on What do you think of how the Naruto series is progressing? First time making one, hope it works.
Not dead, just feeling like it.Why is Kubo on the list? Why are there Three bleach references?
edited 17th Apr '14 8:28:00 PM by FrozenWolf2
Because I tend to confuse Kubo and Kishimoto. Because I tend to shorten Kishimoto to 'Kishi'. Me just being a dumbass. /facepalm
Edit: First Strawpoll, didn't expect it to be perfect did you?
Another Edit: Because Aizen is everywhere.

Not dead, just feeling like it.Perfect no...
Then again its a poll, It's kinda hard to screw up -j/k-
Imagine if Kabuto had partnered with Nagato instead...
The sad, REAL American dichotomyObviously Tobito couldn't beat Nagato, let alone Nagato and Konan. Barring an Uchihax asspull, anyways.
Which kind of makes Naruto indirectly responsible for everything that has happened post-Nagato being Tn J'd. Maybe he inherited Minato's secret-supervillain status.

War has changed. It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles fought by mercenaries and machines. War - and its consumption of life - has become a well-oiled machine. War has changed. Missign nin using forbidden techniques. Hashirama Cells inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control. Information control. Emotion control. Battlefiled control. Everything is monitored and kept under control. War has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control...All in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction. And he who controls the battlefield...controls history. War has changed. When the battlefield is under total control...War becomes routine
