• Tainted by the Preview: The initial three reveals did not endear fans to the initiative as they felt Uncanny and Adjectiveless were playing too safe with Uncanny being accused of synergy with X-Men '97 as the title uses characters appearing in the series with costumes similar to what they wore at that time. The second three reveals were much more greatly received.
• WTH, Costuming Department?: While fans were happy to see Kamala back in her classic red and blue costume, they were confused by Laura's new Wolverine costume, not helped by the angle the promo picture has her sitting at.
