Go To

  • Adorkable: Westley when gushing about books and texts in his bookstore.
  • Awesome Music: Most of the game consists of this, especially during emotional or intense moment.
  • Base-Breaking Character: Westley. Many players were not pleased that he betrayed the Coven. While some think that donating his Werewolf Supersession potion was thanks enough, others think that he should've done a lot more. Many of the Coven characters are also split on him and though Lina says they forgive him, there are some lingering negative thoughts about him from both Coven and Ravenwood Hollow alike. Also, Tara, if romancing him, can choose to feel a certain way about the entire situation.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Once Westley enters a player's game, it's common for them to drop whomever they were attempting to romance from Fairhaven in order to romance him.
  • Fandom Rivalry: Naturally, with any other Farming Sim/Dating Sim game. More specifically Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon.
  • Fan-Preferred Couple: Most people attempt to push Sophia and Thomas together in their playthrough. Doing so earns you a thanks by Juliet during the post-game, who says he's way better than Marty.
  • Fridge Horror: If Tara never made it to Fairhaven, it's possible that Vanessa could've succeeded with her plan to take over the Coven. She and Violet only continued to go back into the Gloaming due to her persistence and it's the incantation that she crafted that helped free Gloria from her deep sleep. Tara's incantations, if completed in time, are the only reason why the wraiths get banished (save for the end of the game). Sophia even says post-game that without Tara on the island, the lives of all the characters could've turned out much differently.
  • Heartwarming Moments: Francis and Angus' wedding, Violet reuniting with her mother after four years, Thomas slowly but surely attempting to woo Sophia (should you choose to go down this route) all qualify for starters.
  • Ho Yay: Amira clearly doesn't care about setting patient/doctor boundaries with Tara, as she can flirt with her before they're even Intimate Friends.
  • Launcher of a Thousand Ships: Tara once she arrives on the island. Sophia offers to try and set her up on a date almost immediately.
  • LGBT Fanbase: Has a huge one, unsurprisingly, since Tara is canonically queer and can date two women who have no problem telling her that they're into women, or a non-binary person. The wedding between two men is also a huge plot point during the Fall season.
  • Moral Event Horizon: Some players believe Westley crossed this after choosing to work with Vanessa by giving her information about the Coven and Wellspring in exchange for a powerful potion that keeps his lycanthropy suppressed during the day. It's a double gut punch if you're romancing him or have married him, with Tara even getting an option to ask him if his feelings for her are genuine. After the events of the main game, some players made it first priority to break up with him due to it.
  • Narm: The ongoing pranking antics of Emmi and Finn. Sure, their mother Lina has a lot on her plate, but surely she could at least give them a good talking to. Natalia's crush on Cameron can also count as this, especially if you're trying to romance him.
  • One True Threesome: Not uncommon to see Sophia/Thomas/Lina or Parker/Thomas/Lina floating around some communities.
  • Tearjerker: The death of Tara's grandmother at the end of Spring 1. You are just beginning to rekindle your relationship together after nearly 20 years and just as everything is getting good, it's time for her to go. Tara can even travel back in time to re-watch the scene, now having restored the farm, possibly found love, found Gloria and defeated Vanessa. She tells her grandmother everything she's done and achieved before breaking down and crying again.
  • Viewer Gender Confusion: Zephyr identifies as female, despite the name typically being masculine. Her looks and stature doesn't help, nor does her voice, which is on the gruff side. Kim, who is non-binary, can be confused for a male at first glance and their name can be a feminine or masculine first name or surname. Their chest is also flat, unlike many of the female models and Tara herself.
  • The Woobie: Juliet, who is shy, quiet and obviously still misses her father. Sophia too, who mentions Giacamo in almost every sentence. Also, any of the people that get accused for being a witch, since they're all innocent (mostly) and don't even realize they're under the influence of something. It's also hard not to feel sorry for Lina, who after revealing that she's a witch to her husband Parker, remarks days after that he's been avoiding her and not talking to the kids. Tara too qualifies, after watching her break down when her grandmother dies at the end of Spring 1.
