- Crosses the Line Twice: The third Alan and George commercial has Alan tell George that he is going to kill all the saber-toothed tigers. The whole thing is treated with no attention brought to that fact like it's a bad thing; Alan saying he's about to "eat someone's parents" in a way that sounds quite proud could easily bring black humor laughs to somebody.
- Memetic Mutation: The unique puppeteering and quotable nature made these ads popular YouTube Poop fodder in the late 2000s.
