YMMV / Ultraman Decker Finale: Journey to Beyond

• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Despite Ultraman Dinas being overhyped by the promotional marketing as the new Ultra, the movie however portrays him simply as a glorified giant version of his human host namesake, given that all of his set of powers and weaknesses are pretty much the same as his human hosts. With Dinas' powers being sacrificed to resurrect Decker in the movie, including the fact that supplementary materials consider Dinas to be Decker's incomplete form, it leads to the conclusion that Dinas (both the Ultra and his Lavian host) are simply overpromoted delivery services to bring back Ultraman Decker into life.
