YMMV / Ufouria 2

  • Accidental Nightmare Fuel: When Utsujin slathers himself in Super Bumyon to become invulnerable to Popoons, the red tint of the goop and its texture make it look like he has been flayed alive.
  • Awesome Music: While few of the music tracks in the game are new, they're arranged really well, especially the main theme which is more wackier and upbeat than in the first game.
    • One of the new level themes, for the field areas, is catchy as heck and sounds like it could've been made in the 16-bit era.
  • It's Easy, So It Sucks!: A common complaint about the game is that it offers almost no challenge and ends quite soon if one does not want to go out of their way to buy absolutely everything from the vending machine.
  • That One Achievement: One achievement asks you to collect 50,000 coins. And not during the whole adventure, but in one sitting. When you unlock the strategy guide late in the game, there's stats about everything in the game and one can see that, after defeating the final boss, one will likely have collected around 10,000 coins for about 5 hours of gameplay. One session usually nets you betwen 1,000 and 2,000 coins if you find all the chests, complete all the challenges and boss fights before you find Bobodori's nest and go back to the main hub, so gathering 50,000 of them is incredibly tedious and time-consuming.
