• Hilarious in Hindsight: Kyuranger vs. Space Squad introduces a new incarnation of Jiraiya as a member of Space Squad and teammate of the contemporary Gavan and Shaider^note Due to the absence of Sharivan's actor., becoming an honorary Space Sheriff in a sense. Later that year, Power Rangers Ninja Steel would incorporate the original Jiraiya's guest appearance in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger for the character Space Sheriff Skyfire, and later on Power Rangers Beast Morphers would incorporate the contemporary Gavan's guest appearance in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters for the character Captain Chaku, itself being a homage to both Gavan's "Jouchaku".
• Magnificent Bastard: Space Ninja Demost is a devious Genmakuu commander seeking to conquer the World of Kyuranger. Pretending to be a fellow ninja of Hammie's, Demost tricks her into stealing the Neo Kyutamas under the pretense they can save her master in order to frame her as having gone rogue, then uses the stolen Kyutamas to revive Mele, Juzo Fuwa, Basco ta Jolokia and Escape to be his henchmen. Killing and assuming the identity of presidential aide Kimiko Naruse, in her guise Demost subtly manipulates Tsurugi Ohtori into going after Hammie while at the same time disguising himself as Shou Ronpou and convincing Lucky to protect her, tricking the Kyurangers into in-fighing so they'll destroy each other. When his plans are exposed by the Space Squad, Demost faces both them and the Kyurangers in one last stand, refusing to go down without a fight.
