- Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: Seriously, everybody's a complete asshole in the story, and things just don't seem to get much better in any of the endings. You would actually feel relief you can actually MASSACRE the classroom just because of the bullying Liza went.
- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Jael, just because of her Dark and Troubled Past doesn’t actually excuse her plot in alienating Liza from their classmates and putting a curse on Willie (effectively killing him) so that she could have the former all to herself. Many fans (and in-universe, Julie) had called out Jael’s action as a pathetic excuse for gaining affection this way.
- The Woobie: Poor Liza...
- Freudian Excuse or not, Jael could count as well.
- Poor, poor Willie; all he just wanted was to proclaim his love for Liza, only to be killed by a jealous rival. Also, even though Liza finds out about his feelings later, she couldn't care less about him. Julie gives Willie some justice by forcing Jael to be in Liza's shoes in order to make her realize what she'd done. But, ultimately, in Confess My Love, Willie told Julie he just wished to see Liza happy, but this game establishes that definitely did not happen and all the endings leave Liza dead or emotionally broken.
