• Harsher in Hindsight: Alpha Trion dies in this episode by merging with Vector Sigma. In Transformers: ★Headmasters, Optimus Prime dies for good the same way.
• Narm: Frank Welker and Roger C. Carmel serve as Superion and Menasor's voices..and it's easy to see why they were replaced by Ed Gilbert and Regis Cordic for the rest of the series. Frank Welker uses the same voice he does for Sludge for Superion followed by a couple of mechanical sound effects while Roger C. Carmel's voice is an overly modulated version of his Motormaster voice. TFWiki says this was done on purpose to make it sound like their voices are a chorus of multiple voices but still!
