• Common Knowledge: Despite what many fans believe, Rinnosuke was not Marisa's Honorary Uncle when she was growing up. It's actually stated in the same chapter where their relationship is first established that he had already left the Kirisame shop and opened up Kourindou by the time Marisa was born, and the two rarely if ever spoke on the times he visited. Their being close acquaintances only started after Marisa had already run away from home.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: The book-reading youkai who gets robbed by Reimu and then fights Marisa when trying to get her books back. Despite being a nameless character who only appears in one chapter, the fanbase named her Tokiko and she has appeared in a sizeable amount of fanworks.
• Fan Nickname: Tokiko (朱鷺子) for the youkai who fights Reimu and later Marisa over books. 朱鷺 means "crested ibis", and the fans called her that due to her resemblance to the animal in question.
