  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Depending on how you look at it, Hannah D. Williams could have been telling the truth about her predecessor Hannah B. Williams being a sadistic animal torturer and a cheater. However, another way of looking at it is that Hannah D. wasn't being totally honest and made up those things about Hannah B. to get Curtis to move on from the original Hannah and transfer his affections over to her more readily.
  • Ass Pull: The original Hannah B. Williams being established as someone who needed to cheat on tests and being a Sadist who enjoyed torturing small animals in private comes completely out of the blue. In the series proper, she was never shown being dumb enough that she needed to cheat and additionally, the one small animal she did get killed in the original series showed no obvious signs of being tortured, got unintentionally killed in what was clearly a failed science experiment, and Hannah showed remorse over what happened (and all of this happened in private, which completely contradicts Hannah D's statement that Hannah B tortured animals when nobody was looking). With almost no genuine evidence of Hannah being a cheating animal torturer to go by in the original TV series, her being retroactively established as this sort of person comes completely out of left-field and moreover comes off as a mean-spirited kick to her memory.
