• Hilarious in Hindsight: The possibility of Edmure becoming king, raised by Jade over Catelyn's objections of his lack of legitimacy, kinda becomes this in light of the finale of Game of Thrones, where Edmure is the only one to dare stepping forward as a candidate to the throne, before Sansa shuts him down.
• Les Yay: There is a noticeable amount between Jade and Sarella. By the second book, the two have clearly grown to care a lot for each other, as shown by Sarella her absolute devotion to Jade and Jade shown to be absolutely pissed after Sarella is badly injured during an assassination attempt. Directly following said assassination attempt, a semi-delirious Sarella remarks that she 'would have preferred a more romantic setting' for Jade having to undress her, and Jade admits to being rather flattered by the remark.
