• Hilarious in Hindsight: This episode serves as a partial inspiration for Us, which is written and directed by Jordan Peele... who would later go on to host the third revival series.
• Values Dissonance: Paul calling the cops on Millicent while she is ostensibly experiencing a mental breakdown would have been par for the course in the 1960s - but in more recent years, the increased news coverage on police brutality, especially with regard to mentally ill patients, makes the action seem incredibly cruel to a contemporary viewer. Doubly so as the police essentially kidnap her with nothing to go on but Paul’s word - they don’t even speak to Millicent - and she was not posing any sort of danger to herself or anyone else.
