• Bizarro Episode: This episode, the only Simpsons episode written by comic writer and film producer Ron Zimmerman, stretches even the Denser and Wackier Fantasy Kitchen Sink surreality that the show is well-capable of at this point in its run and veers right into Gag Series territory; among other things, Rod and Todd use the power of prayer to levitate heavy objects and get Psychic Nosebleeds as a result (which is notably not a throwaway gag but an actual plot point as Bart uses them to help him lift the compacted trash containing Lisa's hat), Bart drinks soda that's acidic enough to melt metal which burns a hole through his stomach and his shirt without harming him, and the grotesque personification of Bart's guilt enters the power plant and gains Godzilla-like powers, getting an approving reaction from Burns, who's somehow able to see him.
