• Anti-Climax Boss: After the entire movie builds up Argon as an extremely dangerous threat who could destroy the entire world if released, he goes down in one hit from Glaucus.
• Awesome Art: The animation is simply gorgeous for its time, and it comes from the people who went on to create Hello Kitty!
• Awesome Music: The beautiful, orchestral soundtrack is composed by Koichi Sugiyama, who created the soundtracks for all the Dragon Quest games and anime.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: A spunky, scarlet haired, sea dwelling protagonist who falls in love with an air breather despite a deep mistrust between their peoples? Cool concept!
