YMMV from the works of The Saw Doctors
This band's work contains examples of
- Covered Up: It didn't entirely eclipse the original, but the band's rock'n'roll cover of Sugababes' "About You Now" beat the original in the Irish charts, peaking at #1 where the original only reached #2.
- Signature Song: "N17", an ode to the road that runs through their hometown of Tuam, helped shoot the band to stardom in Ireland and gets played at every concert.
- Unintentional Period Piece:
- "£25"note , one of the band's early songs, is about how the singer would be great with having £25. It would be enough for him to get dinner and a bottle of wine to impress a girl. Obviously the amount is now laughable, even without taking into account Ireland's change from the Pound to the Euro as currency.
- "Bebo" is about the singer swearing off of the eponymous (now defunct) social network to get away from a Psycho Ex-Girlfriend. It also mentions MySpace.
