• Hilarious in Hindsight: The circumstances don't exactly make it funny, but when Mine is preparing to betray Naofumi, one of the things she does is try to get him drunk before going to bed so she can better sell him attacking and raping her. Thing is later volumes confirm and make it a plot point that Naofumi Never Gets Drunk, which is something he off-handedly mentions in his personal monologue as to the reason why he declined Mine's offer. It's to the point that Naofumi may as well No-Sell any alcoholic effects, period, and noticeably shocks and terrifies any drinkers out there with his ability to eat a special fruit that needs to be diluted in water in order to make wine, which is sometimes even used as an assassination tool on unsuspecting targets. Mine's plan to deal with Naofumi was doomed from the start, something that continues to be a trend with her going forwards.
