• Fan Nickname: Rocksteady for Niles, since they have similar appearances. Although personality-wise, Niles seems to be smarter.
• I Am Not Shazam:
  • Some people refer to Niles and Red as "Rhino" and "Redbill", respectively.
  • Similarly, Red's species is often referred to as a "redbill", when in actuality it's a shortened version of red-billed oxpecker.
• Moe: Red. He's very small compared to Niles and is always looking after his friend, even if he did accidentally got them into trouble in the pilot. This combined with his friendly demeanor and Papa Wolf tendencies with Sam makes him a very bright ray of sunshine in the otherwise bleak setting of the Valley.
