• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Dave is made out to be a jerk for still holding a grudge against Oscar and trying to get him to pay $3000 for a fundraiser. While grudge holding isn’t a good thing, you can’t blame Dave for his feelings towards Oscar. Oscar laughed about bullying him back in middle school and never sincerely apologized for his bullying. So you can’t blame Dave for finding a non-illegal way to get back at Oscar.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Oscar. He could have probably avoided paying that fee to Dave if he could have just sincerely apologized for his actions towards him in middle school. Despite this, the episode sided with Oscar.
