YMMV / The New Adventures of Zorro (1981)

  • Awesome Art: As to be expected from TMS Entertainment, who manage to break free from the usual limitations most Filmation shows end up with. With the Stock Footage abuse the latter company was infamous for being greatly toned down in favor for brand new animation for each fight; and they all look beautiful.
  • Engaging Chevrons: Zorro's Lock-and-Load Montage.
  • Ho Yay: Zorro and Miguel, exacerbated by the former's foppish and dandy-ish mannerisms and his usually rather dismissive attitude towards his supposed girlfriend Maria in his civilian identity as Don Diego de la Vega.
  • Narm: The little boys with the barely-disguised voices of adult men in "The Frame" and "Terremoto."
