• Tear Jerker: A lot of Wren slowly losing everything in Chapter 8 is hard to read, but the worst of it was his wife Anetta getting shot by a biker gang. Understandably, this was a major spirit-breaker that pushed Wren over the edge... and leading him to accept the shadiest of purchases...
• Woolseyism: Having other Inklings with Southern accents interacting with Wren was a smart choice, as it better justifies Wren having one in Western Spaghetti. Further justifying it is the detail of him growing up in a cowboy area of Calamari Country, an actual location in the Splatoon games.
