• Complete Monster: Arborachnid is a demon who desires as much power as possible. In the past, Arborachnid kidnapped a group of villagers and did experiments on them that forcefully transformed them into Cursed Skulltulas. Through these experiments, Arborachnid would learn about using the power of the fairies to transform himself into a powerful creature. Arborachnid succeeds in kidnapping nearly all the fairies across Hyrule and absorbing much of them, as well as killing Saria when she tries to stop him. During his boss battle, Arborachnid kills four fairies he happened to have.
• Goddamned Bats: The game lacks any real way to attack enemies above you from a distance which can make dealing with Keese an even greater pain than in Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The Magic Hourglass giving Link the ability to rewind time as a puzzle mechanic became oddly prescient given the fact that Tears of the Kingdom's Recall ability works in a similar manner, just with objects instead of Link.
