• Funny Moments:
  • When Apocalypsis first arrives and tells Uriah that nobody is coming to his midnight sermon, Uriah laughs and jokes that it was because he scared them off with how badly he aged. Apocalypsis, amused, has a chuckle himself.
  • After a discussion about the relationship between the arts and divine inspiration, Uriah, who is more than a little weirded out by the unexpected conversation, excuses himself to prepare for his midnight sermon. When Apocalypsis clarifies that nobody is coming at all, Uriah is, understandably, frustrated.
  Apocalypsis: No one is coming. It is just you and I.
  Uriah: (exasperated) Why are you really here?!
  • When Uriah brings out his favorite wine to share, Apocalypsis says this:
  "Finally, spirits both you and I can believe in."
• Narm: Despite the tragic and serious tone of most of the film, some of the figures are drawn off-model or with odd proportions and some of the faces have a few imperfections that make them look a little goofy.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Uriah's Heel Realization when he finds out he's the sole survivor of the Battle of Gaduere. Utterly broken in spirit, he falls to his knees and weeps in the realization that his entire life has been spent hurting and ruining the lives of others for the sake of his own personal gain and amusement.
  • The destruction of the Church of the Fulgur Lapis. After Apocalypsis reveals his true identity as the Emperor and leads Uriah out of the building, His Thunder Warriors torch the church with their heavy flamers while the priest watches in tears. In spite of his faith being broken and his life's dedication reduced to cinders, Uriah stands by his values of divine love and forgives the Emperor. But not before warning Him of the dark future that awaits the newborn Imperium of Man. Then, with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes, Uriah walks back into the burning church to pray for one final time.
  "I believe you, Apocalypsis. But I cannot be a part of it..."
