YMMV / The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving

• Awesome Music: "Standing Tough", a rock song sung by Cera's dad about the need to persevere no matter what and serves as Mr. Threehorn's "I Am" Song.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: This wouldn't be the last Dinosaur film to feature Tiger striped Raptors.
• Jerkass Woobie: Hyp. You can clearly see where his "the big rule the small" attitude comes from when you see how his dad treats him.
• Just Here for Godzilla: The wildfire sequence is probably the main draw of the film, due to its amazing score and Nightmare Fuel.
• Strawman Has a Point: Sure, Mr. Threehorn's methods of preserving the water are harsh, and he comes off bad compared to the more reasonable Grandpa Longneck. But this doesn't change the fact that water is essential to the dinosaurs' survival, there's only a limited amount of it, and there's no obvious way of getting more. He absolutely has a point when he argues it must be strictly protected and rationed, even for the children
• Surprisingly Improved Sequel: This is often considered one of the better sequels in the series for at least trying to maintain the more serious tone of the original film and focus on some mature themes, in addition to having somewhat decent songs and a thrilling climax.
