• Anticlimax Boss: For the Lord of Darkness, Satan is such a pushover.
  • Lando's look as he wastes Satan is DEFINITELY that of a heroic Christian knight.
• Complete Monster: The Prince of Magic is Satan's top lieutenant on Earth, supervising a cult of Human Sacrifice so severe that it makes their mountain lair bleed. He is first seen confronting Miguel, a powerful hero out to stop him, and mortally wounding him. After learning that Miguel's nephew Lando has gained the power to stop the Prince, he kidnaps Lando's teenage daughter to marry her off to Satan, but not before molesting her himself. When he captures said daughter, he locks her in a deadly cage full of other women he's forcibly brainwashed into his cult via torture and rape. When Lando comes to rescue her, the Prince hinders him by having his sidekick's face ripped off by one of his loved ones, making her chest explode when she's of no further use to him.
• Fashion-Victim Villain: Satan and the Prince of Magic.
• Narm: LANDO, THE ROCK!
  • The girl whose chest explodes after ripping someone's face off. It's supposed to be a serious moment, but the poor effects and unsubtle acting make it unintentionally hilarious.
  • Just the English dub, really, since the original is already wacky all on its own.
• So Bad, It's Good: The general reception of the film due to its outlandish premise, campy 80s fashion, and overacting. When it was dubbed in English, even more so.
• Special Effect Failure: Needless to say, the practical effects have not aged well.
  • Anytime a character is using their magic powers, it's portrayed by rather basic 2D cel animation.
  • The aforementioned Tear Off Your Face scene quickly cuts to an obvious dummy before cutting back to the actor.
