• Ass Pull: Yang's deception in the last few minutes of the film seem completely out of left field.
• Esoteric Happy Ending: The gold may be delivered to the famine stricken area that it was meant for, but there's no telling if it will do them any good or if they're even alive...and given that Leng Feng's all by herself after Iron Feet got everyone killed out of his own deceptively greedy habits, she will most likely have little purpose in life after the death of her lover and her group.
• Fridge Brilliance: It seems kind of weird that Iron Feet was Yang Hu Yun the entire time, but keep in mind that they took the time to rest at the abandoned town where there was poison traps inside the building. During the night that the Wang brothers of the Hu wei members tried to take the gold, it's implied they were killed by Iron Feet; during night time, that must be when Iron Feet decided to have his double take his place!
