- Anvilicious: The Green Aesop is even stronger here than in the original series, to the point that it gets to Narm levels. For example, it's claimed that no fairy is naturally hostile, only the ones affected by human pollution.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The twins raise the prospect of contacting Artemis at several points in Get What They Deserve. Being the end of the Fowl Twins trilogy and likely the last Fowl story period, it would be a perfect opportunity to let Artemis make a brief appearance for the sake of closure, but he doesn't end up being contacted at all.
