• Alternative Character Interpretation: Killer Frost's concern for Caitlin: Character Development, or Pragmatic Villainy (if Caitlin dies, so does Frost)?
• Fridge Logic: Why would the Speed Force, a dimension that transcends time and space granting physics defying superpowers to everyone in the multiverse, be vulnerable to a nuclear explosion, even as awesome such a force is? Heck, if lightning generated by the Speed Force is the solution, why wouldn't dumping it in the place where it originates help?
  • Admittedly, this is Jay's opinion, not stated fact, so he might be wrong. Or just unwilling to risk it.
• Narm:
  • The episode's very premise automatically renders any attempt to show Barry not being able to do something in a certain time, at least starting in this season when he got his newest boost, absolutely ludicrous.
  • Barry states that he doesn't want to cause another Flashpoint, hence why he won't go back in time. Given that he'd only need to go back about five minutes, the chances of a potential timeline change are practically null.
