  • Karli's actions being brought up as an example of when a character with anit-corporate or anti-government views is sounding a little too sympathetic, so the writers have them commit awful acts.
• Narm Charm: In no way should Zemo dancing at a nightclub be a thing... but it’s so wonderfully goofy it’s one of the biggest laughs of the episode, and without detracting from his effectiveness as a Token Evil Teammate.
• No Yay: Zemo caresses Bucky’s face while telling Selby that she’ll be able to do anything she wants to the Winter Soldier with his controlling code words, the implication being that Bucky will be both a killing machine and a living sex toy for her.
