This fanfic contain examples of:
- Iron Woobie: Faith
- Moral Event Horizon: Kennedy crosses it when she manipulates Willow into killing Oz with magic. There's no indication of any feelings of guilt over it, either.
- Ron the Death Eater: Kennedy. Sure, she's The Scrappy, but canon!Kennedy wasn't someone willing to do what this version of her did. Namely gaslight, Mind Rape, and turn into a Manchurian Agent someone she's supposed to care about (i.e. Willow). Not to mention tell the Watchers' Council the truth about Dawn, knowing that doing so will get them to kill Dawn.
- Shipping: Initially Willow/Oz until Willow panics and kills him while he is transformed, then Willow/Kennedy. Towards the end of the first story Kennedy gets dumped when Willow finds out Kennedy manipulated her into killing Oz and, later, turned her into a Manchurian Agent in an effort to kill Faith. We also see the beginnings of Faith/Tara and Willow/Buffy.
- Take That, Scrappy!: Kennedy manipulates Willow into killing Oz, later Mind Rapes her, gets discovered, and loses everything in a Humiliation Conga.
