. - Values Dissonance: To say this cartoon's portrayal of the Japanese is offensive by modern day standards would be an understatement. Not only is Hideki Tojo drawn with exaggerated features (such as narrow eyes and Asian Buck Teeth), but the crew doesn't seem to acknowledge the existence of the "nice" Japanese (unlike the case is with Germans and Italians), and Tojo's attempt to pass himself off as Chinese is a cruel jab at the Japanese-Americans who claimed the same to avoid being deported just for being Japanese.
