YMMV / The Astronauts (2020)

• What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: The series takes the fantastic Wish-Fulfillment-filled premise of children being stuck in outer space with no adults around, and makes reality ensue wherever possible. The show is far more dramatic than the usual Nickelodeon fare, and while there are laughs, there's also several instances of the kids being placed in peril and no sugar-coating that there is every possibility they can die out there. So far the kids have had to perform regular maintenance to make sure the ship doesn't collapse or break down, dealt with bouts of infighting, anxiety and depression, performed a spacewalk to repair the ship, performed dental surgery, and one character was nearly killed by the ship's rogue AI.
