Big things are happening on TV Tropes! New admins, new designs, fewer ads, mobile versions, beta testing opportunities, thematic discovery engine, fun trope tools and toys, and much more - Learn how to help here and discuss here.
These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items.
YMMV: The Areas of My Expertise
Acceptable Targets: Subverted; although Hodgman has an unreasonable fear of hoboes, he makes a clear distinction between actual hoboes and those who are simply unfortunate enough to live on the streets.
Glurge: Parodied with the Six Oaths of the Virtuous Child.
Hilarious in Hindsight: One of the hobo names is Illinois Obama, a joke that, at the time, only Illinoisans and people who really follow politics would be expected to get. He isn't so obscure now.
