YMMV / The Adventures of Batman & Robin E6 "The Terrible Trio"

• Jerks Are Worse Than Villains: The Trio are technically villains, but very low level ones who are never heard from again after their one appearance. Batman considers them worse than the Joker because "at least he has madness as an excuse."
• Moral Event Horizon: Warren Lawford aka Fox crosses the line when he tries to kill his own girlfriend after she knows too much. Even his friends are shocked at his actions.
• The Scrappy: The titular antagonists are seen by most fans as some of the worst, if not the worst, villains to appear on the show, being little more than two-dimensional Hate Sink Rich Bastards, which is even more notable, given how this show is famous for making many of Batman's other classic foes more layered, sympathetic and/or interesting. Even Bruce Timm himself agrees, calling "The Terrible Trio" one of the show's weakest outputs.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: There's a scene early in the episode where Fox asks a guard how much he makes, to prove a point that by following the rules in life, he has nothing to show for it. This could've led to an interesting story about the trio tempting ordinarily good people to turn to lives of crime to get more money. Sadly, this theme is not explored further.
