• Awesome Music: The score by Harold Kloser and Thomas Wander is probably the only good thing about this film.
• Narm:
  • Most, if not all of the film. Special mention goes to the scene where the blind albino man gives D'Leh some exposition about the Almighty. The man's appearance, couple with his squeaky voice led to entire theaters howling with laughter during what is supposed to be a serious scene.
  • The Smilodon would be a lot more threatening/awe-inspiring if it didn't have a ridiculously oversized head that makes it look like a giant kitten or a bobblehead.
• Nightmare Fuel: The Attack of the Terror Birds. Just think what it must be like to stand in that tall grass, unable to see anything around you, and then suddenly realize you're being stalked by stealthy predators, you can't see where they're coming from, and any attempt to move could lead you closer to your death. On top of that, the things hunting you are ten feet tall.
• So Bad, It's Good: Many people only see this movie to laugh at its many, many, many errors. Though others see it as deliberately invoking Rule of Cool over any historical accuracy.
• Special Effect Failure: The only effects that even work are the Mammoths. Special mention should go to the fall of the pyramid in the climax, which is especially conspicuous, and, for some reason, the frame rate drops noticeably.
