• Harsher in Hindsight: Victor's mental breakdown at the beginning of the fanfic upon learning he'd been lied to his entire life is already heartbreaking enough. Then Chapter 20 came along and made it even more so when it was revealed that the author had been dealing with severe psychosis while writing the story.
• Heartwarming Moments: Despite the story revolving around Victor being deceived throughout nearly his whole life, there are still some sweet moments in between.
  • The beginning of the story where Victor and Mildred are discussing about how Mildred and Lionel met and making jokes in between is just so adorable.
  • After the U.Z.Z. Spring Ball fiasco, Milla comforts Victor, after being forced to go on the run from U.Z.Z. It truly shows how much Milla cares for him.
• The Woobie: Victor, as usual, gets the short end of the stick. However, his life goes to hell after he finds out he’s been lied to his whole life. After the revelation that he’s a Half-Human Hybrid with psychic powers, his coworkers react to him with fright, and he’s treated as if he’s some kind of freak. At the end of Chapter 10, he’s forced to go on the run with Milla and Raz and their friends.
