• Creator Breakdown: Chapter 20 revealed that in addition to dealing with two deaths in the family, the author was also dealing with severe psychosis while writing the story.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Little_Goat_Opal originally planned to end the story on a cliffhanger after ten chapters and follow it up with a sequel where Victor goes on the run from U.Z.Z. with the Psychonauts characters. However, Opal decided to scrap the sequel and continue the story instead.
  • Originally, there was supposed to be another psychic (a girl who "stole" other people's psychic abilities) that Changed Daily and Lucy Woo faced instead of Lucrecia Mux (aka Maligula), but she proved to be too dark for the story and was scrapped.
  • At the U.Z.Z. Spring Ball, rather than go on a psychic rampage ala Carrie, Victor was originally supposed to unleash a massive shockwave. He would then get chased out of the building, where he would meet Raz and Sasha.
