• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The film significantly deviates from the original Light Novel and manga versions of SAO Progressive. The new character Tozawa Misumi/Mito changes Asuna's backstory and overshadows Kirito. Argo's space in the plot was cut to make room for Mito. The plot to buy Kirito's Annealed Blade is also removed, cutting the screen time and importance of other existing secondary characters.
